Knowledge Without Understanding.
(Continue in my Word?) Introduction: Be encouraged to know that Jesus wants your joy to be full. Rejoice in the God of our salvation. Rejoice because of the life that we have in Him. He said I give you my joy that your joy may be full. Confidence in his faithful gives you peace with all you have to deal with in this life! God is faithful, He cannot lie, His word is true and cannot pass away. Receive the incorruptible seed of the word of God. we trust that your hearts are open and receptive to the word of God today. message begins here: spirit of the lord is putting strong emphases on the last days, especially this sign of the last time - the false christs, the false religions The main last day sign of end time is the Spirit of Deception 1Timothy 1 false Christs, false gospel, another spirit, many spirits that are all inspired by the Anti-Christ spirit.He reminds us to be encouraged to stand for the truth, to contend for the faith. Don’t let down your guard. Don’t let the deceitfulness of sin and works of the enemy, wiles of the devil and deceptions to cause you to draw away from your steadfastness in Christ. We focus on that and continue in that vein/stream to get an understanding of what it really means to have a true revelation of Christ that brings a true relationship with Christ.
Satan is The prince of the power of the air Influence through all type of medicines, ideas to destruction The spirit of the Lord If you continue in my word John 8:31,32 Jesus said, “If you continue in my word. then are you my disciples indeed and the truth shall make you free.” Hoy Spirit leads us into all truth. Paul begins his letter to Timothy by really focusing on doctrine, the standards of God’s word He Admonishes Timothy to contend for the faith and maintain the true doctrine of Christ. To realize that there are many who are trying to pervert the truth of god’s word. He admonishes Timothy re: the calling on him maintain the true doctrine
2 Many who name the name and are involved in ministry, are yet lead astray. All false doctrines, are from same source, infiltrating the body of Christ. 1Tim 1:5 verse 5 info, not of the spirit will not bring change in a person’s heart and nature, character 1Tim 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: info to the mind, soulish man hear yet to the heart * the word is quick and powerful, piercing asunder when mind to obey God and our motives are sincere, love is pure if we have a selfish mindset, self-esteem, what we deserve, brings destruction sincere for God and God alone people gain knowledge without understanding more satisfied with informed mind than a converted heart. t The more you know the greater your sense of self-worth, but no change of heart. We are becoming more satisfies with knowledge 3 not information for the manifestation of God’s presence, nature New Age religion focuses on self esteem. Pledge allegiance to all sorts of things the flag, representing allegiance to citizenship of America, the nation move on America’s politics, constitution There is compromise and lack of focus on God’s purpose. Many even in the body of Christ are polluting God’s word. Lack of focus on God’s eternal purpose. More focus on the politics, whose going to get appointed,and patriotic commitment to the constitution than to God. Conservative or liberal, democrat or republican. We bring greater even in the body of Christ. Why are people under such pressure and pressuring others/ Corruption and darkness had ben prophecied where trhere is more division where loyalty is based on our cuture, bloodline than the blood of christ. John 18:36: Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews The falling away and darkness had been prophesied but God is always faithful to his people more division among those who name the name of Christ more cultural, bloodlines in the natural we are a chosen generation, delivered one in Christ, common destination, common destiny, not temporary, legacy of a nation. This world is not our home, this is not the end. we have a glorious future, a home in heaven not built by man’s hands, eternal in the heavens, we shall forever be with the Lord. Thank God for rights and privileges for laws and peace but our focus must be on salvation of souls. …. God’s desire is that all be saved. There is an eternal plan an eternal destination that if we don’t accept Christ as savior the alternative is to be lead into eternal damnation and separation from God. 4 It's all about the heart, about the souls, The souls of man and our responsibility as representatives, We represent the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and will soon will be brought back home. world’s way – the cares of this life, deceitfulness of riches choke out the word many depart from the faith, giving heed to love your neighbor as yourself focus on everybody expressing themselves to speak and be seen Dominates time New Age – “I Am worthy therefore I determine what is valuable to me” Vain gangling: lot of words with no eternal value The enemy has a lie for everything that is true 5 *God has not given us the spirit of fear Paul taught many will want to be teachers Take heed to what you hear Guard your heart with all diligence Be mindful of what you allow your ears to hear and your eyes to see Make a covenant with your eyes that you will not look at what will lead your away from Christ. 6 We must contend for the faith and be on guard. God has a plan. The devil has a plan, too. turmoil, but God has not given us the spirit of fear, take heed to what you hear. Guard your heart with all diligence, be mindful of what you allow your ears to hear, your eyes to see. They bring information into your spirit make a covenant with your eyes not to Wherever God has a vision the devil ha a plot. God already told them what his plan was, the devil came with the lie. The very heart of the soul of man before the fall of man. Dis Satan’s deception: You will not surely die. Age/ Dispensation of innocence followed by the Age of Conscience. Covered in the shekinah glory of God after the fall they were under the dispensation of conscience Now whatever gives me sense of value. Whatever my conscience deems right. new age teaches that there is no judgment. even in the church, no teaching about hell and eternal damnation. Only about how you are deserving, entitled to receive joy and blessings. Only because of His mercy and his grace, nothing to boast in of ourselves. born in sin, shapen in iniquity. No right to demand anything from God. Cannot earn the blessing of the lord the love of God keeps us and helps us maintain a life in this natural world. there is a great compromise that is happening. People don’t want to think that they are accountable. There are consequences to our actions. Judge of the quick and the dead. He is the judge. We believers will stand before him at the judgement seat o Christ. Unbelievers stand at the great white throne judgement. those whose names are not written in the lamb’s book of life will be throne into hell. every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. That Jesus Christ is Lord. We shall give an account of ourselves no other name, no other mediator but the man Christ Jesus. “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE” No man can come o the father but by me. 6 Paul told Timthy, “preach the word…the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…” *I Tim 4:2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; The first things and last things Paul said to Timothy. “Watch in all things, do the work of an evangelist.” Information is on the increase People are gaining knowledge but lacking understanding. Knowledge puffs up, gives a sense of pride. Knowing who I am, how much I’ve proven myself. People are searching. The sacrifice of the flesh to earn and be pleasing to God. Information is head knowledge while Revelation is heart Rhema Word, revealed word. Natural man receives not the things of God. Revelation by the spirit of God Men of God spoken will bring forth fruit by the Holy spirit. There will be a performance of what was promised brings forth a reality Peter a man – saw Jesus in the flesh, walked with him. Matt 16 Jesus asked his disciples, who do men say I am. 7 Today they say you are good leader, prophet, one of many messiahs Peter said they say you are Elijah, a great prophet, etc. like John the Baptist, exposing sin commanding repentance renegade, non-conformist, isolate from the world like Elijah, raising the widow’s son a miracle worker of signs and wonders like Jeremiah, weak, meek, and lowly, always weeping Jesus did weep over Israel, did work miracles, etc. Jesus asked, “Who do You say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of God.” He had revelation, heart knowledge. 8 Not just based on testimony of others, but on his own experience Walking with Jesus. Peter had a desire to know Him. Get into the word yourself, read about Him in Matthew, Mark Luke, and John epistles. Peter had Seen Jesus feed the multitudes. Experienced it himself, “If you bid me come.” read for yourself what Jesus did and said. fed the multitudes 1 Corinthians 2:4-6 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: Paul says to us, “My preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but with power and authority.” Live the word, testify,. know him as a healer: Say, “By the stripes of Jesus I was healed”. as a deliverer: was bound by drugs, he is a provider, when there didn’t seem to be a way, God is a faithful. a counselor. When I didn’t know the way, He showed me the way out Cause others’ faith not to rest in man’s wisdom. We are raising up a people with true manifestation of His love and His power. 9 Matt. 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (*Upon this rock I will build my church see a fulfilment of his every promise revelation and understanding by the spirit. Powers of darkness have no power over you.) Overcome by the blood of the lamb. Walk in provision and grace. We have keys to the kingdom and access to the throne of grace! Knowledge of the true God. We already declare his faithfulness. We will see a fulfilment of his promises. understanding by His spirit insight and revelation and understanding we overcome him by the blood of the lamb and love not our lives until the death walking in understanding in relationship access into his presence at any time share with others who are desiring g to know Don’t get distracted. Hebrews 10:23-25 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. *…..more as the day approaches He is coming soon! Rev, 22:12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is. Occupy until He comes. Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, We will receive revelation, understanding by the spirit and find ourselves walking in victory over the wiles of the devil The gates of hell hall have no power over you when you get understanding of Christ tify our knowledge of Jesus.in YOU, YOU WILL find ourselves walking in VICTORY ACCESS INTO HIS PRESENCE AT ANY TIME

Satan’s Master Plan 3/22/22
Jude tells us to “contend for the faith first delivered We are not to be ignorant concerning Satan’s devices. deceitful workers, false teachings, false Christs in the last days Learn how we are to stand in these last days. Lay a foundation – the new age world religion exposing plots, deceptions subtle but profound in the working It is the spirit of the anti christ I John 2:18 it is the last time the man of sin will be revealed, spirit of AntiChrist doctrines 2 seeks to remove Christ and substitute another gospel! 1John 4:1 beloved. believe not every spirit confusion, perplexity the spirit of the Lord lets us know how we are to stand Galatians – departing, substituting begun in simplicity of salvation but drawn to another gospel! intellect, scientific things of the world the challenge to the saints to hold fast to the standard of the truth 3 Galatians 1:6 I marvel at this, being deceived another gospel there are many new translations of the Bible now 2Timothy preach the word…be instant in season and out of season…they will not endure sound doctrine people are fulfilling fleshly desires *Galatians 1:7 not another, some will if any man pfreach any other gospel, let him be accursed have understanding by the Holy Spirit and the written word *matt 16 who do men say that I the son of man am? flesh and blood did not reveal this to you Many depend on man’s wisdom to give understanding of who Jesus is! but if any man have not the spirit of God and natural man receives not…except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God… eye hath not seen, ear hat not heard The way of the Lord is simple. “Learn of me.” Knowledge of God is not complicated if you have a hunger for the right things. If we receive another spirit, another Jesus, another gospel false apostles, no marvel an angel of light, posing as a minister of righteousness; the devil deceived Eve with a lie – you shall be your own God but you decide. focus on yourself you are God’s creation, power against wonders later than relationship with the Lord Paul identified false apostles, etc. no relationship, foundation of the doctrines of Christ Deception in this last day love of many waxes cold A survival mindset wars and rumors of wars, pandemics, sickness and disease Global, not nationwide. Affecting all nations Culture and social status is meaningless Men are looking for a global solution They are getting ready for the God of this world Their mindset: facilitating a global religion, economic system Master plan of the enemy in order of process a long time. Increase of knowledge: no limit to information computers in our pockets We have access to information - artificial intelligence, technological advances The number of man: The belief that man is the answer eliminates focus Men can solve this problem without God, The bible is not legitimate drawn to other sources But the Bible is God-breathed There is a famine for the Word people eating filled with ungodly ways outside of the truth 4 We have been in the last days for the least 2,000 years The signs are coming to fruition now. The New Age Movement teaches that there are many paths to God They teach a universal open-armed religion in which only those who believe in a personal god are excluded Jesus said, I am the way There is no other name under heaven by which “man must be saved most doctrine is dogmatic not religion glorification of man, teaching that man is supreme and that man can evolve into godship holding to Satan’s promise, “you shall be as a God” Mormonism, secular humanistic teachings, professionals – a high religion more attuned to people of intellect man is an evolving God and the greatest love of all is “self-love” Nothing New under the sun – the same spirit of lust, lasciviousness’, pleasing self New Age Jesus’ sacrifice is meaningless like in the 1960s and 70’s peace and love is the mantra Escape from authority and standards No sin and evil, no judgement 5 A false premise New Age teaches that man is inherently good. Galatians says it is another Christ, a misrepresentation of who God is. It teaches that God is an essence, an energy force and that there is no way to have a personal relationship with Him They teach that we are all God and He is an energy But we know that God is not part of His creation! He will burn it up in the end. A new heaven and a new earth. (Rev, 21) mother Earth, worshipping stars, spiritism, zodiac, horoscopes, etc. Astrology the interpretation of assigned influence the stars have on human character guided by stars, planetary movements, etc. Babylonians sought wisdom through these practices Beware of these mindsets, drawing our young people these are prevalent and are on the increase, keeping them away from the truth New Age Re: Christ: Buddha, etc. are Christ. Messengers are sent to help us develop into Christ -likeness 6 New Agers believe there is one to come that will usher in the New Age. Angels are called spirit guides, but they are demons except a man repent, confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus New Agers believe “born again” means to let go and allow your “inner guide/inner self” to lead you. But God hates pride because he says “humble yourself under the hand of God Hinduism – Khundalini – even in the charismatic church serpent power – they believe this gives instant rebirth by a flash of light rebirth conveys Christ consciousness’ They believe the second coming when new age believers receive Christ consciousness and that their messiah come and rule in the earth. Hell and Judgement: “How can he send his children to hell?” Heb 9:27 God does not send people to hell, he gives them a choice. 7 The Agenda has been publicly written Harlot Babylon in Revelation 17 contend for the faith There will be a great falling away before the revealing of the anti christ. It is a subtle agenda The Plan – 13 points in the New Age Mission statement. (from Secrets of the New Age , Texe Marrs 1987 ) 1) establish one religion for population control, et. one world social order 2) revival of idolatrous ancient Babylon same sex marriage, cultism, psychics will be the norm, necromancy, etc. *God left strong warning in Deuteronomy 18 as the Hebrews were coming out of Egypt. They were not to involve themselves in these activities. (normalization of these cult practices) 3) Anti-Christ come in the flesh to lead the new world order 4) Spiritism – ie:avatars - they believe they help man inaugurate new age and pave the way for new age man-God to unite man as The Great World Teacher pg.8 5) world peace, love and unity are rallying cries – another popular them, the greatest love is to love yourself 6) taught in every sphere of society around the globe. education, government, etc. 7) spread the apostacy that Jesus is not God or Christ 8) all are to become parts of the new Age Religion - ecumenical movement – co-exist as equal 9) Christian principles to be discredited 10) children spiritually seduced for the New Age dogma. The evolution theory equal or above the truth of God’s word, gender issues part of the equation 11) flattery to entice the worldaccomplishments of man exalted – man has the answers to problems 12) science and religion become one, man’s accomplishments, glorifies man as God– heroes, superheroes! superhuman abilities They see man as divine God (but God says He should get all the glory) 13) Christians who resist the plan should be dealt with, maybe exterminated and the world purified Persecution is coming! let not your heart be troubled. While we are here, stand! Martyrdom: many are willingly laying down their lives now! Paul said he fought a good fight and kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Be encouraged, aware of subtle, enticing practices that draw men away and dishonor God. Deception is strong bait disguised as truth. Continue in the faith. Jesus has thoughts of peace. Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of God. We are privileged/commanded to go into all the world with the gospel. The message for the world: Salvation is found in none other than Jesus Christ. Bow to Jesus now while you have a choice. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Hold fast, study to show yourself approved unto God! The Bait of Satan: Deception
(Introduction) We must understand the times we are in as the sons of Issachar did! Know the season. It is the season of his return. Matthew 24:3 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? There is evidence of things they had no understanding of. Know that these things will get more intense. Jesus' first response: Take heed that no man deceive you. (Matt 24:4) 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. He warns against deception, foretells false teachers and prophets, rumors and rumors of war, etc. Deception and false religions of the world have increased. Paul warned in Jude 1:3 and 4, Beloved, when I gave diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." Some of these practices and teachings had begun to creep into the churches even then. I John says Anti Christ will come and that the spirit of Anti Christ is already here. 2 Deception is the bait of Satan! It is the first weapon Satan used to bait man. He disguised a lie as the truth but he comes as a roaring lion of destruction and condemnation. Back to Genesis: Conversatin with Eve. Satan enticed/deceived her, suggesting that she should partake of the tree of knowledge. “You shall not surely die, but you shall be as gods. The first 2 parts of the deception were correct in that he said the fruit was pleasant for food and good to look at. But “desired to make one wise”? And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Gen 3:6? When The Lord God put them” in the Garden Eastward and the tree of life in the midst of the garden”, He said it was good for food and pleasant to look at but Satan added this: “you shall be as gods.” You will be your own God of wisdom and bring what has been given already. Every false religion asks, “Hath God Said?” pg.3 Challenges of Satan 1 God is not Real - There is only nature, an essence, an energy. If they can deny that God exists, they can also believe there is no devil, no ultimate sin, no judgement, no accountability. They believe you can be good without God. That you already have the divine nature. That you have the nature of God if you follow the process of what they can teach you to get to levels of enlightenment to evolve and be able to judge yourself. 2 What makes the Bible? - true False religions have additional writings, their own bibles, etc. Jesus said, if we add or take anything away, we are accursed False religion says, love yourself, you are good The bible says that you cannot see or understand the things of God. You have no power even over your own mind. People have been under the works of darkness since Adam and Even sinned. Col. 1:13 God has delivered us out of darkness pg 4 The bible was written for the people of God!
Man must be born again. You can’t understand how life is with the natural finite mind. The infinite God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The bible is not written by man, Holy men of old wrote as directed by God. Things of the spirit are spiritually discerned. You must be born again to understand. The spirit searched all things. We are fruitless in our own natural intellect. God’s word is alive and his revelations are alive. His word is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, searching the deep things of God. Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. What you must do to have a relationship with God. 5 The result of sin coming into the world. The devil became the God of this world system. The world is already condemned. A new heaven and new earth are coming False religion believes Christianity is too constricting/limiting. Cults deny judgment Hebrews 9:27 it is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgment If a man die, will he live again? Where will I spend eternity? God will not send you to Hell. You choose. 2 destinations – heaven or hell. You have a choice. Jesus came to give us a choice. Ecumenical movement – all religions are joining together. But Jesus is the only way. The broad road straight is the gate that leads to life Continue on the road that leads to life. You need a relationship with Christ. - your desire, commitment, loyalty, love Resist temptation and do what is pleasing to God. 6 There is a way that seems right. Most suffering is man made by desire for superiority. ? rich selling the poor The heart of man is evil, desperately wicked unless he has received the spirit of God selfish motives because of the nature of sin man’s greed, selfish gain at the expense of others 2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. come and learn of me, my yoke is easy 2 Cor 2:4 demonstration of spirit and power if any man preach another Jesus or another gospel… People who pervert the gospel water it down, coveting glory and honor, bringing honor to themselves 2Cor 11:13 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.” 1John and Jude because iniquity will abound the love of many wax cold the mystery of iniquity pg 7 The mystery of iniquity. Secrets preparing the way for apostacy Definition: insidious process which deceives unbelievers turning many from true faith to accept and take pleasure in sin challenges the truth of God’s word 1Timothy - some will depart from the faith seducing spirits, doctrines of devils, cause some to depart prevalent in the earth and in the church not new but more intense and consistent (2Peter 2:19) promise liberty some believe the lie Jesus said, “ if you continue in my word…” after they have escaped the corruption of his world and are again entangles… later end is worse than the beginning if they are ever trying to get you to turn to this. not consistent with God’s word We must cast down, take authority over thoughts and every attack of the mind as a man thinketh on his heart, so is he we must be mindful of who we are based on God’s word 8 Heb 10:38 cast not away your confidence don’t lose faith and confidence regardless of what is happening God is in control 2Peter 2:9 God knows how to deliver. He is our shepherd be steadfast, always abounding in the work of the lord Yet a little while. I come quickly If I go away I will come again and receive you unto myself. the just shall live by faith not of them that draw back Not drawing back, looking to the left or right, but looking up! Your redemption draweth nigh. Hold fast don’t lose your crown you want to hear him say “well done” Keep Moving Forward
Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. Then shall we know if we press on to follow. Be careful not to forget three things before we continue to grow and be fruitful. Increase in faithfulness, obedience and love for the lord. There has been a deeper, more intense attack against heart and soul of believers because iniquity abounds, but where sin abounds grace much more abounds maintain … Proverbs 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. If you faint in the day of distress, how small is your strength! Jeremiah 12:5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan? *Don’t come to a standstill, *Don’t back off your stance in the word of God. *Have an aggressive response to anything not of faith Who has believed the report of the lord? We are challenged to stand amid so many reactions. Some back up, backslide, not moving forward Some sit and don’t pray or fellowship, are not involved, scornful, angry, frustrated. Digression comes when we lose our delight and joy in the Lord and lose our desire to be worshippers Many are no longer walking or standing, just seated. 2 No longer desiring the things of God Be ye steadfast, always abounding! It is easy to get distracted. If we faint in the day of adversity, our strength is small. Ephesians: sit walk, stand (opposite order of Psalm 1) Paul was speaking to new converts in Ephesus pray for one another. The strong should bear the infirmities of the weak the old saints would say, “pray my strength in the Lord” Paul’s prayer in Ephesus What it means to be a Christian Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; the God of our Lord… be enlightened with the spirit of wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of Him The word revealed is Rhema causes you to be transformed. 1Cor 2 not with enticing words of man’s wisdom 1Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. The faith of God’s word is only revealed by Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth He causes the word to come alive in us. The spirit of God breathes life! 3 He gives wisdom of the word, how to walk it out. wisdom that the holy ghost teaches He reveals it to your spirit and causes you to be transformed My words they are spirit ad truth delight in the word, in the truth that we may know Him. without faith in Him we cannot please Him He rewards those who diligently seek Him He gives an expected end to be performed in your life He set this up before the foundation of the world. By grace were you saved and created unto good works. This is the hope of your calling: He had a plan in place for our salvation The hope of your calling: The riches of the glory of inheritance in the saints. Resources are necessary to get it down provision for the vision He meets all of our needs according to his riches in glory the exceeding greatness of his power. The purpose God has ordained Psalm 1 ends with sitting while Ephesians starts with sitting God’s riches in mercy…raised us up together and seated us in heavenly places with Christ Jesus seated, entered in to his rest not by our might or by our power learn best when we are seated in the presence of the lord we receive direction we are seated in a place of authority, privileged King David seated Mephibosheth at his table When we were aliens he invited us so we are seated together in heavenly places, according to Hebrews 12 we are seated at the right hand of God. Our position in the Lord: Ephesians 1:3 Blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus 5 Ephesians 6 tells us how we are to stand be strong in the lord, put on the whole armor of God… having done all to stand, stand 2Chronicles 20:17set yourselves, stand ye still and ye shall see the salvation of the lord Psalm 46:10,11 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth… sitting denotes position, standing denotes power Ephesians 4-5 speak of walking, “not standing in the way of the ungodly Ephesians 6 speaks of how to stand walk in the spirit, be led by the spirit walk in the light as he is in the light. have fellowship with him Order my steps in your word Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. The steps of a goodman are ordered by the Lord. There is no occasion of stumbling. there are no traps you cannot see ahead of time Walk in love, let your love be shed abroad. Walk by faith, not by sight. Trust the word of God with faith and obedience By faith we receive We believe the report of the Lord. Truth overrides facts! Stand on it! 6 Walk in the light, Walk worthy of the vocation. Be a light, an example with all lowliness and meekness and longsuffering Walking as a light, a person of integrity having a servant’s heart, endeavoring to keep the spirit of unity in the bond of peace Unto every one of us is given grace. By all means keep moving. We see an incline in Ephesians while a decline in Psalms(sitting, standing, walking - incline) the eagles’ flight! walk, run, soar run the race with patience, run strong and hard the finish line is just ahead we gain a second wind near the finish line run with all your might! Issaiah 46 Soar, eagle saints! 7 Look Up! the eagle has 2 eyelids. one to look down at the target/prey the other to look upward, directly into the sun soar like an eagle. Allow the wind of the Holy Spirit to take you higher You are on a new level now. Isa. 40:28 The everlasting God…increases strength, determining He will increase our strength They that wait upon the lord will renew their strength 7b they will run and not be weary, walk and not faint keep your eyes upon the written word He is strong and mighty as our healer and deliverer Our delight is in the law of the Lord. We are trees of righteousness and whatever we do prospers. We are more than conquerors. Don’t bend. Stand firm, stand strong, continue to soar! |
