An Ear to Hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches May 30,2021 Acts 2 We must understand that we are in a special hour in time, we are in the last days Matthew 24 signs of the times, wares pestilence, racial tensions, as it were in the days of Noah, married and given in marriage, going on about their usual daily chores, A lot of things are being preached in the airways, a lot of deception: a lot of voices The spirit of the Anti-Christ is on the rise like never before We cannot overemphasize the importance of hearing what the spirit is saying Going back to Acts 2: the importance of Pentecost Holy Spirit Is the Spirit of Truth Acts 2: 2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Find here We are in the dispensation of grace The indwelling presence of God by the Holy Spirit Except a man be born of the spirit, convicting work of the Holy Spirit brings conviction and understanding that we are undone Just the goodness of God and the peace of God, accept the truth of who Jesus Holy spirit will not always strive with man Yet we resist sometimes, hold back, allow our own fleshly desire to over-ride the spirit in us Paul said “I will not frustrate Spirit. Holy Spirit gives us revelation of Christ, the hope of glory. He will give the revelation of who He is. “You must be born again. Allow him to reveal himself! The day of Pentecost is The 4th of 7 trumpets:, : 50 days after Passover (First Fruit - resurrection) We are bought with a price and we are to glorify god in our spirit and our bodies As long as we are led by the Spirit, we are dwelling by his presence we can be confident Be led by the Spirit
Jesus gave the churches a strong command after His assessment of where each of them was spiritually He commanded them to repent, return, and redo – especially the church of Ephesus. WE are tempted to lose our love for the Word of God and the people of God. Find here We also need to repent, return, and redo. There is a call to repentance. To return to our first love! We must lay aside everything that can hold us back and desire to please Him in all things. “He who has ears to hear, (a willingness to hear) let him hear”! Pg 5 Gods will can’t be revealed by natural reasoning, a natural man/unbeliever does not have the ability to know the things of God or to now Him. “You must be born again” and led by the Spirit of God. 1Cor 2:9,10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. The things of God knoweth no man, but we have received and know the things freely given to us. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind by the Spirit of God. He is the Spirit of Truth who gives true revelation. *The Word becomes revealed and ____________ alive The Work of the Holy Spirit We’ve been delivered The indwelling presence of God His presence dwells in us Pg 6 Find here God by His grace causes us to/gives us the ability to move our faulty without God How much more ________ the life we have in the spirit According 1Cor 2 we have received not (the approval?) of the world Comparing spiritual things with spiritual The Holy Spirit is author of the scriptures. Holy men of old spoke as led by the spirit 2 Peter 1:21 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Holy Spirit inspired the writing, also gives revelation of what is written. He leads us into all truth.” Paul had great wisdom of man. He was ”circumcised on the 8th day” in compliance with the law and tradition He was articulate, having “sat at the feet of Gamalial.” He deemed all those things as worthless compared to the revelation of the knowledge of God. There is excellence in the knowledge of God Phil. 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, “I count all things worthless (dung)” Wisdom is better than weapons of war Eccles. 9:11 “I returned, and saw under the sun, that t: lhe race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; y. Our adversary the Pg 7 Our enemy is not a natural enemy. Our adversary, the devil is not natural. God’s answer is love your enemies, bless them and pray for them. “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal **Use weapons with spiritual authority. We cannot overcome powers of darkness with the wisdom of this world. The source of the problem is not natural and cannot necessarily be solved worldly wisdom.? Find here: The Spirit and the Word of God dwell together. Gird up yourselves, put on the whole armour 0f God. Ephes 6:11-18 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Science is not recognizing the works of God. The devil, deceptions and mixtures? of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam with Christianity are on the rise. There is recently a new Bible being prepared that includes the United States Constitution. They expect it to be released in September. There is a great movement in the world, especially this nation with theories, ideas, contrary doctrines, information, replacement theology teaching that the American church has replaced Israel Pg 8-13 We must stick with the word of God! Men determine who they want God to be. The devil is challenging the word now~! If you are not fully committee and rooted in the word of God, winds of doctrine and the deceitfulness of sin will overtake you; Be on guard! Time is winding up! Seducing spirits, doctrines of devils. Allow him to have his way and speak to you. Stay in the word of God. Praying in the Holy Ghost. Spend Time ever day praying in the Holy Spirit. Discipline yourselves. The mind is unfruitful as the Spirit speaks to God and God is guarding your heart! Pg 9 Build up yourself in the Holy Ghost! Allow the word of God, the love of God and Holy Spirit to dwell in you richly He keeps us mindful. Giv no place to the devil 1Cor 3 “know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost?” Recognize and acknowledge that God will show you what to do. He will give you a way out. There is no temptation not common to man. God is faithful to make you able to bear it. 1Cor 10:10-16 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 14Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. 15I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. 16The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? Give me insight onsight, in the middle of the battle. Let me hear your voice saying walk this way. He will speak a word for you. A specific word. A weapon of war which is the word of God, the sword of the spirit. Pg 10 If you don’t have the Spirit of God, speaking the Word won’t matter. God is working on you. Be assured of the fact that God is in control. He will never leave you or forsake you. A word of exhortation: recognize that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Verse 13 not in man’s words, but by the Holy Spirit. God is allowing things to happen so he can teach you. 14. The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God. What kind of sense does the crucifixion make to the world? We have the mind of Christ. Jesus dwells in us by His spirit. The love of God dwells in us. We have the ability to love, to disciple others, Pg 11 We are expected to love others beyond loving others the way we want to be loved. We are told to love the same way He loved Us! To lay down our lives for the brethren, We have the power to love and forgive like Jesus did – “father forgive them, they know not what they do.” You have the peace of God – “My peace I give to you The peace that passes understanding. You will be persecuted. 2Timothy 3:12 “they that live godly shall suffer persecution.” The lord knoweth them that are his. Let every man depart from iniquity. *So we have his _______, his love, his peace and his joy. I give God praise. Is praise shall continually be in my mouth. Bless the lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits. All things work together for good if I know within my heart. I desire to please Him. There is a testimony out of this test. Pg 12 The joy of the lord will give you strength. Will cause you to shout and dance in the fire like the three Hebrew boys of the bible. Find here His hand is upon you. He has plans for you. You can rejoice and be at peace no matter what is going on! This is a time to be encouraged; a time to hear and discern and obey the voice of God. It is important to be in the Word! No prophecy is of any private interpretation. Line up everything with the Word! Every dream, prophecy, teaching, thought. 13 In this hour, people try to form God into their own image. They try to know who God should be and what God should do. We let the Holy Spirit reveal these things to us by the Word of God. We must contend for the faith. Great signs of the last days! False information, false doctrines Overcome by the word and by the blood For we have the atonement and access to come into the throne. He is faithful and will watch over His word to perform it. (Ezek. 12:25, Jer 1:12)

EARS TO HEAR
This is the day the Lord is saying to the churches “he that has ears to hear need to hear now!” There are deceptions seducing spirits, try the spirits by the Word There must be commitment for believers to obey As we are empowered and submitted to the Holy Spirit there is the. utmost importance of being led and filled with Holy Spirit Acts 2:1 quote here This is an important dispensation we are in now Jesus told his disciples to go and tarry in Jerusalem until they be endued with power. They remembered what Jesus had said: that the servant was not greater than the master and they would be hated as they had hated Jesus. “As the father hat sent me, so send I you,” Then he breathed on them and told them it was necessary that He go or the comforter would not come. John 16:16,17 Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.” 17At this, some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he mean by saying, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’? He spent 40 days after the resurrection with the disciples telling what was to come and instructing them to continue the work. The work I do, ye shall do also The works of Jesus accomplished through his body, the church Holy Spirit sent – the "paraclete", “the one like the other one” Pg 2 Cpt 15 obey me and keep my commandments The Holy Spirit is given to those who obey God. Old testament, only came upon kings, priests and prophets when the Spirit of the lord would “come upon” them. After Jesus rose, the spirit dwells within us and leads us. Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. He gives us peace in these times John 16:33 ” “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer I have overcome the Pg 3 Jesus’ earthly ministry was 3.5 years “He came to his own and they received him not” John 1:11-13He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made by himings but you cannot , and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. If we are not born again we cannot receive fom God. Seducing spirits, doctrines of devils, et. Preach the word… subtlety of the enemy, warfare, deceptive, seductive As the serpent to deceive. As the roaring lion to intimidate and deceive, social agenda, fake news, misinformation The spirit of confusion in the world today\ People don’t know what is truth” challenge to the truth of the word of God Pg4 Find here Quote: Daniel _______They that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits People who once believed are beginning to question if the word of God is true He will confirm his word by his servants by signs and wonders (2 Timothy 4:2) To walk in the spirit and work the works of God we must believe. It is the anointing of the Spirit that makes the difference. It is the only way to victory in this life! This is a wakeup call to draw people into intimacy It’s a praying time. They that know their God…will do exploits. Who is on the lord’s side? Pg5 A discerning ear and determination to hear what the spirit is saying to his church Isaiah 30 We have to get ourselves in position to omit to allow the name of Jesus to be exalted John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice and they obey You can hear his voice, to If you call to me I will answer you 1John 5:16 this is the confidence…because we know He hears us God’s mercy – we thank God for his mercy Isaiah 30:21 thine ears shall hear a word behind you saying this is the way, walk ye in it Pg 6 Pray in the Holy Ghost He gives us a mechanism, a way to hear and communicate The Holy Spirit helps our inability to know what to pray Prays on our behalf according to the will of God The children of Israel had been in bondage to the Egyptian system Find here: God sent plagues because of Pharoah’s unwillingness to let his people go “When I see the blood I will pass over you Accept the blood of Jesus and be passed from death unto life The Blood in Passover represents salvation Passing through the Red Sea represents water baptism Dead to the old, raised in newness of life Find here: Led by the spirit like the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night in the wilderness The Jews had been exposed to the God of Egypt and had no understanding of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob They followed the cloud by day and the fire by night and were lead to their destination Pg 7 Remain under the cloud, be led by the pillar of fire 50 days after Passover was Pentecost! On Mt.Sinai the tablets were given There was the outpouring of Holy Spirit Moses came down from Mt. Sinai and the people lost focus, talked of going back to Egypt! The enemy is trying to draw you back into bondage Making you wonder if the bible is true Looking for the melons and leeks, but all our help comes from Him! Find this God is still God He is God and you are not We are the people of God and cannot continue to worship the things of man Who is on the Lord’s side 3,000 were slain when the commandments were given but at the old testament Pentecost, but 3,000 were saved and added to the church at the new testament Pentecost Pg 8 We are in a new day – know the faithfulness and graciousness of God - Ephesians 4:27give no place to the devil Resist the devil and He must flee James 4:6,7,8 6 But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and, now he speaks by His son!! He will draw nigh to thee Find here: recognize that god is in control… Stand strong, our redemption draws nigh Look ahead and look up, look unto Jesus, In the old days God spoke by the prophets, now He speaks to us through His Son! The enemy is revving up his attack on the children of God He is subtle and uses the deceitfulness of sin If we don’t submit ourselves to the seducing spirits, the roaring lion begins to roar and make you feel fearful and speak against your own well being Speak life! Death and life are in the power of your tongue Respond to his accusations with the Word of God PG 9 EVEN AS IN THE DAYS OF Daniel 1 Cor 15:8 Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord Stand against the trials, devices, plots and schemes of the devil. Put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Meditate on that Word day and night My words are life A word behind you saying walk this way. Maneuver the minefields of this world! We must be sensitive to hear and obey the voice of God. They that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Know His Very Heart! After the Holy Ghost is come upon you, you have power to love, to trust God and to know that He is faithful. Power to witness! Pg 10 Be witnesses for God .find here Matt 28:19,20 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Be Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Let your witness be spread abroad, your testimony, lifestyle. They will recognize that you have a relationship and know that’s the reason you have peace. I’m sure the God of peace, be still, there may be weeping in the night but joy comes in the morning. Psalms 30:5 “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” KJV We are not going to turn back, give up or let down; It’s time to stand. Having done all to stand, we still stand!! Witness to somebody. Let them know He is coning again. His return is near! Sound the alarm! Time is winding up. We must be soul winners In the world there is no hope. We have this hope and we purify ourselves. 2Cor 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. Will He find faith in the earth when he returns? You have the power to do the things that please God. He will prove himself. The Virtuous Woman (Proverbs 31:10) 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Introduction/prayer We are so glad to be in the kingdom today! We are encouraged by what the lord is saying to us today! Thankful for another day to rejoice in Him. He daily loadeth us with benefits! Eye has not seen, neither has ear heard the things that he has prepared for us. He reveals theses things to us by His spirit. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, of course. Today we will be speaking concerning motherhood. God is not a respecter of persons, so I’m sure there are some principles that can be applied not only to the female, but to the male. This is a special day of recognition, acknowledging mothers. I am Encouraging all today, especially the mothers. All mankind can be blessed by the word today. Today we learn of a woman whose name was Hannah Proverbs 31:10 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 13She seeketh wool, and flax, And worketh willingly with her hands.14She is like the merchants' ships; She bringeth her food from afar. 15She riseth also while it is yet night, And giveth meat to her household, And a portion to her maidens. 16She considereth a field, and buyeth it:With the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17She girdeth her loins with strength, And strengtheneth her arms. 18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: Her candle goeth not out by night.19She layeth her hands to the spindle, And her hands hold the distaff. 20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; Yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: For all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; Her clothing is silk and purple. 23Her husband is known in the gates, When he sitteth among the elders of the land. 24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; And delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25Strength and honour are her clothing; And she shall rejoice in time to come. 26She openeth her mouth with wisdom;And in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27She looketh well to the ways of her household, And eateth not the bread of idleness. 28Her children arise up, and call her blessed. Motherhood: servant of God What the Lord God has to say concerning a virtuous woman: (3 main characteristics of the woman of God)
We are especially encouraged by what the lord has to say to the mothers today. Unselfish servant, Not fully appreciated, Automatically expected to give and sacrifice without murmuring or complaining Give their bodies to their husbands in physical and emotional service to him. The husband’s body is not his own, either but the wife gives her body to her husband, sacrifice physical appearance in pregnancy as the body goes through changes Emotionally, hormonally, etc. then the labor and pain of childbirth as she goes through the experience and travail of childbirth in order to bring a new baby into the world. Mothers should be appreciated and we should really understand the great sacrifice that mothers go through to bring life into the world. 2 Provides the closest bond for the nurturing and nourishing of that child. Sacrifice and commitment goes beyond other human relationships Women/mothers are true examples of servanthood. As Jesus came to serve, not to be served. The 3 important characteristics are much the same. Women, especially virtuous women have a reverent fear of the lord, and a greater sensitivity to the Lord. More spiritual sensitivity to spiritual things, more spiritually connected, More emotionally connected in a lot of ways, sometimes their intimacy in worship is deeper than men’s as God made them that way. A compassion for those in need and a faithful love for her family.commitment. We look here at Hannah in I Samuel, a woman of faith and great desperation, a woman of HANNAH: had a desperate desire for a child, a woman of desperation and also a woman of dedication. She committed herself to believe and trust God for what seemed to be an impossible situation. 1Samuel 1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite: 2And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. 3And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there. 4And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions: 5But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. 6And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. 7And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. 8Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? Sometimes the things that we desire seem to be dersired and delayed. Sometimes thee things we desire God will allow us to have to wait. Sometines in the waiting theire is a process of our development with God when we have to wait. Wait I say on the lord. I had fainted unless I had believe to see\\ Sometimes It brings us into a more intimate relationship with the lord. 3 Pray without ceasing: (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Elijah prayed Hannah prayed and didn’t let the provoking of Peninnah distract her and get her off focus She was “in bitterness of soul” (I Samuel 1:10) Her prayer and desperation here was not for selfish gain. Not to prove anything to Penninah, but to be blessed of the Lord to be a blessing to the King. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. 11And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no rasor come upon his head. 12And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. 13Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 14And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. 15And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 16Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. 17Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. 18And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. We must make sure our motives are right when we pray. The lord says “whatsoever things ye desire when you pray, believe and ye shall have them. Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive; and they shall come unto you. Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall have them. The word seems like foolishness to man. They cannot see the kingdom and understand things feely given to us. The process and plan of Satan that entraps unbelievers and prepares many within the church to turn away from true faith to a form of godliness without power. There is a process and a plan of Satan.
