Leviticus 23:34-35
The King rebelled against God as he sought the God of the Philistines, Beelzebub, god of Eckron
He fell through the lattice of his house and inquired of a demonic power for deliverance
He sent a servant to Elijah to ask if he would be healed and God said  “is there not a  God in Israel?
The King became angry and launched an attack on Eed lijah. (he attacked God’s messenger)
 Three times he sent 50 soldiers to arrest the prophet Elijah. Twice the group was devoured by fire  The third time, the captain of the soldiers pleaded with respect and the Lord told Elijah to spare their lives this time.

Our message challenges people on where they stand.
Remember the “three Hebrew boys” were challenged to bow down and worship the devil.
Lucifer had been an anointed cherub, trafficking praises to God in heaven.
He was able to persuade 1/3rd of the angels to follow him.
He never lost his desire to destroy what God loves.
God loves man and desires for man to have the same desire for Him.
 
 
Satan wants to be the only choice.
.The heathen king made a command to bow down and worship.
It was their command and their image.
There are only 2 kingdoms.  We bow to one or to the other.  To the will of God or the will of Satan
Baal – his name symbolizes Satan
The spirit of the Lord of the Flies. His desire to destroy what God loves
Flies like dead things.
We either operate under the kingdom of God  or the kingdom of Satan.
Matt 12:22  there was one possessed of the devil, blind and deaf
The Pharisees accused Jesus of being empowered by Beelzebub. They did not want to acknowledge that Jesus did this with the power of God rather than Satan’s power.
John said “a greater one has come.”  Jesus said, “He that is not with me is against me.
“God has delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of his dear son.” (Colossians 1:13)
He demonstrated great love and power towards us.
God desires to have us!
Before the cock crowed, Peter had denied Jesus as Jesus had told him he would.
Satan desires to have you that he might sift you as wheat.  Satan’s plan was to get Peter to deny Jesus.

We must maintain our obedience our love for God.
He showed us that he loves us and he wants us to choose to be with Him.
Maintain faithfulness and trust.  Warn others!
Jesus said, “I did not come to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.  that they might have life.
I came that they might have life.
We must have an understanding of two kingdoms.
Either in the power of darkness or light!
It grieves God’s heart when we don’t trust him and when we go after something else! 
He will be with us always, connected to us as a faithful companion.
 
It’s no time to get distracted, to lose our trust in Jesus!
He brought you out because He wants true fellowship.

The Lord thy God is a jealous God.
Showing mercy to them that love him and keep his commandments!
He desires to love you that He might bless you.
Proverbs 3  lean not to your own understanding.  God has delivered us from the power
In 2Kings  Ahaziah rejected God.  He had already experienced trust in false Gods.
As it happened with other leaders in the Bible, his anger caused him to come  against God, persecuting those whom god loves, as it was with Daniel and others.
Even Jesus was an example of this type behavior.
John 15:20   “If they persecuted me they will persecute you." 
By standing for the truth you will be attacked.
You will not be destroyd.   
We must know who we stand for
Walk in wisdom. we are challenged to bow, our heads to be anointed,
 
Remember there are only 2 choices, God and His world, the Word of God,

Every idol and false religion is under the control of the devil
They are not mere inspired ideas but demonically inspired.
Satan despises himself as an angel of light
There is wisdom beyond human wisdom, but not of God
combining Hinduism, etc.

things either get better or worse
it’s time to call out in repentance
or continue as Ahaziah in an attack against the things of God
 
There will be many types of persecution
2 Chronicles 15:4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.
Remember Asa’s downfall
Who are we putting our trust in?
“Hear ye me Asa and all Judah and Benjamin”
“If you seek to have understanding - seek him and you will find him. If you forsake him he will forsake you.

There was no understanding
2 Chronicles 15:3  Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
 
You must get understanding for yourself.  Study to show yourself approved unto God. 2Tim2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Chronicles 15:4 "But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them."
We must honor the lord with our worship, or substance and our life.
  
There was “great vexation upon all,  verse 6 nation destroyed of nation  God did vex them. This is a reminder of Christ’s soon return.
It is time now to seek the Lord and stand.
Be strong in the lord.
 
Asa took courage and tore down all idols! and renewed the altar of the Lord. He then gathered the people when he saw that the Lord was with him. They covenanted to seek the Lord with all their hearts and souls.
They sought Him with their whole desire.
 
Our stance with the Lord is a light to the lost.
Arise, shine!  Now is the time to be a witness like never before.
Be an example to those who need hope!
 
We must honor God with our worship, our substance and our life.
God gave Israel peace for 30 years and then allowed another challenge!
Be ware when you stand, lest you fall.
continue to stand, be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Asa decided to foolishly give to another King, the King of Syria.
The prophet of the Lord came and reminded him of how the Lord had delivered him before.  “The eyes of the Lord run through the whole earth to show himself strong.
He has a right to be jealous over us.
There is no time to lose your faith.  Remember what God has already done!

Romans 5:10  For if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
Christ died for us when we were yet sinners.
We shall be saved from wrath through him.
We have been delivered from the wrath to come.
He has seated us in heavenly places.  We are only for a short period of time.
Romans 8  what shall we then say to these things.  If God be for us,  who can be against us?
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform
and that neither death nor life nor any other thing shall separate us from the love of God.

We entered into a new year ace Jewish according to the Jewish calendar.
We craw near unto Him and consecrate ourselves unto Him
God is creating a thirst in His people
(Psalm 42:1)As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

more than necessary in this hour more than before
a willingness to hear what the spirit is saying

God was provoked to anger
He had already provided in every way but they did not trust God to be their source
we must labor to enter into that rest, place of relying on God as our source

We can forget who and whose we are!  God can prove himself to be a light to the world!
Isaiah 61  his glory shall be seen upon us!  a call to be people of God in this hour to arise like never before
a wake up call to the people of God
He that has entered into his rest ceases from his own works
Ahab and Jezebel and people’s hearts turned away from God
 
 
(IKings 18:21)And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Elijah prayed that the rains stop for 7 years, then prayed again  for the rains to come
We have opportunity for the light of God to shine and to prove himself faithful
Like in Goshen.  Tod brought light to his people in the midst of all this ( darkness, plagues, turmoil)

God has not given us the spirit of fear.  He does not change!
He is Jehovah Jireh – our provider and
He is El Shaddhai
 
Prayer life and Giving life in order, and life of Humility are 3 elements necessary for us to operate and experience the supernatural from God the way God wants to provide for us in his hour
God has many names that present His relationship with man
find   , Rohi, shepherd, etc.
Jehovah Jireh, our provider, Jehovah Nissi His banner over us is love, Jehovah Sidkenu our righteousness, Jehovah Rohi, Our shepherd,
God challenged Abraham to take his son to the mountain and sacrifice him.  as a test of Abraham’s allegiance to God.  You must have no other idols.
 
Isaac asked his father,  “where is the lamb for the sacrifice?”!
because of obedience   take steps that may seem right.  he had matured to the point where he knew the voice of God
he provided the lamb in the bush.
Abraham knew the voice of God.  He knew that God was able to raise up his son if he obeyed the command.  As Abraham was obedient God stepped in and stopped the sacrifice. God wanted Abraham’s heart!  Don’t allow the blessings God brings become idols  in the place of God.
Our willingness to obey
(Phil 2:13)  for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
He will direct our path.
God is a jealous God.  He must be the center of our joy!

Never eat your last seed!  Sow. Make sure you worship God by giving your first to the things of God! give first to the work of God,
In the days of Elijah, God provided for him at the brook cherub
Water In  the brook.
Elijah was fed even in famine through the widow at Zarephath – God had commanded her to give to his servant Elijah. from her last bit of meal and oil.
They were  obedient and ate for many days
Elisha,
Elisha, as Elijah’s understudy for @ 20 years, was encouraged to have the same faith Elijah had.
People see your reactions of faith or fear.
We are mentors to many. The strong bear the infirmity of the weak., Elisha said, ”I will not leave your side”. 
When it was his time to be caught up in the chariot, Elijah ‘s mantle fell down to Elisha as Elijah was caught up want a double portion of the spirit that is upon you._______
Our God is a God who performs special deeds of power! causing nature to do what is contrary to itself.
The darker the night, the brighter the light shines.
we are going to need to see this!
(Romans 5:20)  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

Examples of God’s supernatural power over obstacles.  We see miracles ins the lives of Abraham, Elijah and Moses in the bible.
 
God caused the borrowed metal axe head to swim for Elijah’s disciples.
 
Joshua needed  more time to win God’s battle and asked God to extend the daylight.
God caused the sun to stand still.
 
Hezekiah asked for more time to live.  As he prayed for grace for more days to live God, God answered his prayer and gave 15 more years of life.   caused sundial to reverse 10 degrees  As proof of his promise God caused the sundial to backup.
 
Moses brought water out of the rock by speaking to it in obedience.
 
Jesus instructed Peter to get his taxes out of the mouth of a fish!
 
In these last days, We will need to see miracles, too!
 
Praying in the spirit
(Jude 1:20,21) 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our …
 
(Romans 8:26)For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us
 
plan –
I challenge you to pray in the Holy Ghost for a solid half hour
this will keep you in the love of God.
know that we love God because He first loved us
We can call on the lord with all our heart
In all your ways acknowledge Him praying much
Don’t let the devil fool you, threaten you, lie to you and tell you that God does not love you. that He is not your source, that he is not with you. Don’t be deceived.  Your prayer life and giving and commitment to do those things he commanded you to do.   the key to your victory and success.

We know of George Washington Carver – known as “the peanut man”
He was Holy Ghost baptized and prayed at least 2 hours a day in the Holy Ghost!
He had great intelligence, researcher, and lived in the days of slavery.  Resources were not available at that time and place.  The Lord always provides me with life changing ideas.  always a treasure.. up to us to chose and dig for the treasure.
 
Rose early every morning at 4 o’clock to visit with God and get his plan.
 
He was trusting the Lord to reveal what is necessary.
God showed him plant rotation.
Carver asked God why He made the peanut. knew it was the solution for soil health.
God said “separate the peanut into compatibility, temperature, pressure
Then you will know.  Carver said, God worked through him because of His prayer life. 
In 10 days God shewed him the answer and more than 300 uses for the peanut.
 
He would not allow books in his lab.
“God will reveal to us things He never revealed before IF we put our hands in His!
Without God to draw aside the curtains I would be helpless!”
I never have to grope for methods. 
 
Prayer is more of attitude than anything else.
Ask the great creator many times a day about the animal kingdom, minerals and vegetable kingdoms  and plants.

Ask God wisdom and understanding to give you bodily strength.
Spend time with God.
Mr. Carver gives God all the credit even though he had to hear and take action himself.  had to hear and take action.  Often going to sleep with a problem and the answer was there when he awoke.
 
God will show how to be creative in bringing forth the word of God and spread the gospel to many.
 
Where there is no vision, there is no hope!
99% of failure is from people who make excuses.
Start where you are, do what you can with what you have and do it now!  trusting in Him, spending time with Him.  Without Him we are nothing!
 
Cease from our own works.
This is the labor of God: to believe in Him whom He has sent.
He is our peace.  Our victory.  “Do what you can and do it now!”

We are in a special season!  We want to focus on the Hebrew calendar for some direction on things that are evident in this hour.  In the timetable of events that God has orchestrated, there are some special
We can not know the day of His return, but we can know the season.things we need to be aware of and npt take for granted.  looking at the signs of the end times, etc. 
events in the earth and in God’s calendar
Tomorrow is a special day, celebrating Rosh Hashanah, a special time in God’s timetable
a day of shoutings, a day of blastings,   day of trumpets, feast of trumpets
every 7 years  the beginning of a Schmita (Sabbath) year  2007, 2014, 2021 special in God’s timetable of what He is doing.
 
The new year on our calendar (in January) marks  a new beginning,  resolutions, a time of restart
On God’s calendar, The Hebrew calendar, (September 6) Rosh Hashanah is the new year, marking a time of introspection, repentance, and renewal.
 Rosh Hashanah  marks a time of really seeking God and drawing near to God in repentance - judging ourselves, if we judge ourselves we will not be judged with the world
It’s a day of repentance
specially this yer 2021 - a sabbath year, entering into God’s rest

How God dealt with Israel
7 major feasts to memorialize and celebrate  Jesus was the fulfillment of each feast
-Passover – Israel came out of Egypt
death passed over them and they passed from death to life

-unleavened bread – 7 days of separation from the world
-Feast of First Fruits  recognizing His resurrection from the dead
-Pentecost – 40 days after first fruit  - Holy Ghost came on the day of Pentecost 40 days after passover
-Feast of Trumpets: Rosh Hashannah   the Lord himself shall descend with a shout  (1 Thes 4:6) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
2 reasons the trumpet sounds
  *call to war,
  * call to worship
in-gathering of the saints of the Lord with the Lord soon, a gathering of the people to worship
assembly to gather in worship
This 7th year, Schmita year, is a year of consecration unto  God, worship, study of the word, prayer.  a sabbath year
A time to enter into God’s rest, into His provision. 
We will have a true Psalm 91 experience
we are entering into a time of true consecration and believing God to be our source, and all that he has promised to be.
I believe there is a calling to the people of God to enter into that place of devotion and commitment to God - declaring that he is our God,  refuge, our strength…
He will prove himself to be our protection …

dwelling in the secret place of the most high, declaring that He is our buckler, our shield
He will keep us in all our ways.
This is a time of consecration.   bringing his people into a season where he will prove himself to be our source and our protection.  Entering into the Holy of holies, dwelling in the secret place.  Declaring He is our buckler, our shield.   He will keep us in all of our ways, he will guarantee of long life
Declaring God to be our source and all that he has promised to be
He commanded that there will be a year of consecration and devotion, entering into God’s rest.
 
We are entering into a time of a season where we learn how to trust him, he will prove himself to be our protection
We will see how God commanded that after 7 years there would be a year of consecration, devotion and worship and entering into God’s rest. 
In the 7th year The land will rest
6 years God provided sustenance to last the 7th year just like the 7th day after 6 days of manna in the wilderness with Moses.
Exodus 23:10-15
no work on the 7th day   every 7 years commit
10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and gather in the increase thereof;
11 but the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor o  6 day work 7th day rest.  f thy people may eat; and what they leave the beast of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
in the 7th year there was to be no harvesting the land
a year God provided sustenance enough for the day or trying to make provisions for themselves, the land was to rest! notice in the 6th year the land was not to be harvested

12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest; that thine ox and thine ass may have rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

 
   13 And in all things that I have said unto you take ye heed; and make no mention of the name of other    gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
 
The land will rest
6 years thou shalt sow…but the 7th year thou shalt rest
The first 6 years would be like the 6 days before sabbath
He commanded them not to work the 7th day, like the 7th year rest!!
time to focus totally on God – no conversation other on than things relating to God!!

• worship, prayer, study, consecration to God
• put trust in the faithfulness of God!

 

 

 

 
Israel never did obey the Sabbath or the 7th year
The day of the new year Rash Hashanah represented the day he created the earth
He wanted to prove that he is our provider and wants us to get back to a place of trusting and knowing that he is our source.
He is faithful even in time of famine, pestilence ect. all around us
 
Because of this disobedience, God brought judgement upon them
 the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
God created us and will prove that He is our source!
It’s not because of the labor of our hands, technology, etc.
We should always be reminded of this and focus on that fact.
He will show himself faithful.  Dwell in the secret place.

The Babylonians Used God’s things in a perverted ways to fulfill their plans until the land had obeyed her sabbaths.
God punished with 1 year captivity for every year they did not obey the Sabbath.
He is the one, not the labor of their hands and what they had power to do.
This relates to His people NOW!
We are entering not a season where we will have to trust him like never before!
We will not rest on what we thought knew 
It takes a special grace to stand in this hour.
Special times of introspection, time in the scriptures, prayer and worship! 
Learn the importance of standing, following through, holding fast.
Matt 24  the love of many will wax cold because iniquity shall abound
Lawlessness and rebellion against the laws of God, natural laws doing things contrary o God’s ways
whatever feels good,  ” imaginations of man only evil continually”
 there is now an acceleration – “where sin abounds, grace doeth much more abound”
departing from the faith 
1Tim 4  seducing spirits and doctrines of devils entice creating a sense of Hopelessness,
 
 
Hebrews 3  beware brethren lest there be found in any of you an evil heart of unbelief!
Matt 24     He who endureth unto the end shall be saved

Hebrews 3:13-15     But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end
Hold fast your confidence
we are not of those who draw back into perdition
keep the joy of the Lord
don’t lose confidence in his love for you
 
Because of unbelief, Many could not enter into God’s fulness
 
Hebrews 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not
Eye hath not seen nor ear heard the things God has prepared for his servants.
Holy Spirit reveals the things God prepared for us in this hour.
You will faint unless you believe 
Our prayer lives will be foundational for our ability to stand!
David said,” I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of God in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13)
men aught always to pray and not to faint
This is vital like never before.
We see that they could not enter into that rest because of unbelief
In this earthly experience, a place of peace and security
A lot are turning back to the power of man’s wisdom and ability to deliver – God is the only one who can save
Hebrews 4:1,2 1 “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.”
Don’t be like those who are hearing and not believing.  Be like the wise man who built his house upon a rock

persecution is coming!
make sure you are not just a hearer of the word  Jesus has a strong warning for the church of Sardis
if therefore thou shall not watch.
Revelation 3:3,4 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.  3:5 “ He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
they did not continue steadfast unto the end
If your continue in my word…I will confess your name to my father
 He who has an ear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the churches
IJohn 2  love not the world   they that abide in the word of God will remain for ever
the lust of the flesh,  they that abide in the word of God
2Tim 3  having a form of godliness – outward appearance, denying the power of the Holy Spirit
to convert them.  We must examine our love for our neighbor. Its time to make sur that our love for God and and souls
We must have a know so, know that your love for God is real!  We cannot imagine the glorious future in this life and the life to come!
Heb 3 there remaineth a rest,  a hope! the blessed hope
look up, our redemption is drawing nigh
Rev 14  still hold fast, we have a glorious future  nothing our imagination can put together
To know we will rule and reign on earth
Don’t allow our current circumstance to fool you.

Jesus warns of consequences of not standing in obedience.  for those who do not stand –
Revelation 14:10   The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God
He did not call us to wrath.  We have received his rest.  We should be not fear about the future.
“Here is the patience of the saints.” faith in Him only

Exodus 23:10-13
be circumspect, not to even mention trust in anything else!
blessed are the dead that die in the Lord,  they shall rest from their labors
Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
 
The wheat and tares grow together.   a lot of things that look like Good are not the real thing
 
2 Timothy 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. We are in a place of “partial” rest.  How to enter into His rest
Rev 22:3  His name shall be in their foreheads
We shall be like Him
He will know us as we are known, we shall see Him as He is!
Before the return of the Lord, He will bring a mighty move of His spirit
Be strengthened to know He is faithful
Arise shine, for thy light is come
Gross darkness is upon the people
 “The gentiles shall come to thy light.” Isa 61?

the heathen will see
get in the place of restoration
heb 4:9-11  There remaineth a rest to the people of God 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
there shall be no light there, they have no need of a candle
these things are faithful, the things that must shortly be cone
behold I come quickly
Rev 22:16  16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say, "Come!" Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
the spirit and the bride say come.  Surely I come quickly!
Even so come Lord Jesus
the grace of our Lord be with you all
