Emmanuel God is called Emmanuel Isaiah , Matthew 1:22 Know that He is with us and for us. He works through us! Jesus, Emmanuel, He is Savior, “God is Salvation” Emmanuel, means "God With Us" (Isaiah 9:6 ) lists the names to identify who he would be (Isaiah 7) what he would do in the earthly ministry and even now in the body of Christ A child I born (His (humanity) – A son is given (His divinity) 100% God and 100% Man This is a mystery to many the godhead is difficult to intellectually understand 1Timothy 3:16 Great is the mystery of godliness without controversy Not a controversy for the people of God God manifest in the flesh Wonderful, counselor, prince of peace, everlasting father, mighty God No one name can fully describe the greatness of our God His relationship with mankind: character and authority of God Jehovah shepherd, prince of peace God manifest in the flesh Names give an image in our minds as to what personality and character they are, what kind of person they are. He is Emmanuel Wonderful – approved of God by miracles and signs He did, healed the sick, cleansed lepers, cast out devils Counselor – wisdom full of grace and truth Proverbs 3:5,6 trust in the Lord with all your heart for direction and wisdom James 1 ask of God who gives liberally and upbraideth not Mighty God (El Gibor hero - God of war) beyond natural ability creator, Lord of Hosts, the mighty God all power is in His name Revelation 1 the one who was and is and is to come He will never leave you – call on me and I will answer Everlasting Father – protector and provider Psalm 91 He is our refuge…in his will we trust John 14, am the way the truth and the life Prince of peace (Romans 16:20) And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. the God. (Romans 15:33) Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Peace on earth, good will to men He brings peace in the midst of the storm, “peace be still” In the midst of winds, confusion, spirits of depression, fear etc. – God has not given us the spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind We keep our minds stayed on Him, being careful for nothing. But in everything through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we let our requests be made known by Him and the peace that passes all understanding rules our hearts and minds His wonderful relationship to us: What is man that thou art mindful of him Psalm 8:4-8 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the … son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands…. Phillipeans 2 He took on the form of a servant for the purpose of death We must also humble ourselves to the will of God Let thy will be done, not my will Willing to lay down His life Highly exhalted At that name, every knee will bow there is no other name given whereby we must be saved! I stand at the door and knock Not for a casual visit, but to dwell in us! He came to live and dwell in us! He is our strength 1)God is with you, He is Emmanuel, God with us. Know God is with you. In the wilderness, they got distracted and put trust in other Gods, the Golden Calf Moses in Exodus 33 Show me thy way God says,” my presence shall go with you and I will give you rest” If it is that thou goest with us, the world will know that you are with us Who is really on the lord’s side? 2) God is For you Jeremiah 29:11 thoughts concerning you, plans for your life, we are in this together. plans, purposes, vision and plan for your life, Romans 8:28 we know do you love him, keep His commandments, etc. if I love Him and know I am called according to His purposes We look not at things seen His will and word will be accomplished. “if it had not been for the lord on our side… 3) God is in You He dwells in us by His spirit Nicodemus came by night. We know no man can do this except God sent him, Jesus said, except you be born again by the spirit you cannot understand the kingdom I am crucified with Christ Christ liveth in me, I live my life by faith (1Cor 6) know ye not ye are the temple His spirit dwells in you He is with you, for you, and in you More than conquerors in Him, Darkness and confusion have no hold on us, We are looking for that blessed hope, the return of the Lord to receive us unto himself Corruptible shall take on incorruption, God in you (John 14:15) If you love me, keep my commandments He will abide with you forever, A new covenant , Jesus shed His blood so there is no more blood sacrifice needed In the old testament, the Spirit of God came upon the Judges for anointing If you keep my commandments the spirit of the Lore Is upon me, thus saith the Lord- Old testament For a period, an assignment (JOHN 14:16) another comforter the spirit of truth the world cannot receive … he shall abide with you forever natural man receives not the things of God foolishness to him, neither can he know them, they are spiritually discerned (1Cor 2:14) He shall be in you.. Regardless of what is going on The remnants of God are to be at peace Emmanuel God for Us, works through us Phil 2 he wants to clean house, we must be holy Pg 8 notes If any man sin you have an advocate with the father (1John 2:1) If you confess and forsake your sin you shall prosper and receive mercy (Proverbs 28:13) Holy Spirit comes into lead and control - gives power to forgive, to pray for enemies dwells in s to work through us Work out your own salvation Hear the voice of Jesus, be sensitive to the voice of God, give ear to hear what He is saying What should my attitude be? Direct and lead me into what I should do Phil 2:3 God worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure Know and do Not by our might or our power but by His Spirit No longer I but Christ Glorify God in my Spirit and my body His presence to be felt and glory be revealed Born in our hearts Instruments of righteousness vessels of glory!

He came over 2000 years ago and He is coming Again! A Son is Given He came over 2000 years ago and He is coming Again! Isaiah 9:6,7For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. This is a prophetic word given that there will be a son given. What that would mean for us in the world today, the primary focus today is that a child was born. His existence did not begin as a child, at the beginning of his humanity, but that his existence is an eternal one. delete the bible describes…… him as being wonderful Jesus was born and laid in a manger, but that was not the beginning of his existence. Jesus is the beginning. Revelation 1 He is the one who was and is and is to come. He is God manifest in the flesh. I Tim 3:16 great is the mystery of godliness 16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 2 JESUS IS GOD. God gave Adam and Eve dominion over all of God’s creation but they were deceived and gave it over to the devil, the enemy. Jesus came to reclaim, to seek and find what was lost! 3 Emanuel God with Us, revealed to us 2Cor 4 “The God of this world” system - legal authority was given over to the enemy. God is still God of all creation, but they had given legal authority to the enemy, and Jesus came to reclaim his government ownership of what belongs to him but of His government there shall be no end Jesus prayed: thy kingdom come, thy will be done He came to establish His name in the earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords In his birth he invaded Satan’s domain, reclaimed his authority, came to restore and reclaim. He destroyed the works of the devil, healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out devils, he gave us the same authority “of his government shall be no end” 1 John 3:8 8He that commiteth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. The devil had brought sin sickness and disease, Jesus brought salvation healing and deliverance and he gave us that same power, As I am so are you in this world Power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.) As I am, so are you (John 14:12) they that believe on me, the works that I do and greater works than these You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you 4 By the authority of my name, power of my word and the power of my blood Kingdom authority in the last day In His death washed away our sin gave us power over Satan; He shed his blood broke the power of death, and paid for our sin. In his birth He invaded Satan’s domain, in his life destroyed Satan’s works, in his death he took authority and destroyed Satan’s power of death In his resurrection, He claimed all power! “Oh grave where is your victory, death where is your sting” 1Cor 15:55 No more power in Satan Go into all the world, these signs shall follow you. Understand the foundation, the truth of what’s going on based on the word of God The Gifts from the wise men were prophetic: representing who Jesus was what He would do. - what it means for us today! The reality of who Jesus is SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS, SIGNS EVERYWHERE Matt 2 signs happening now in the universe Joel 2 Wonders in the stars, Today, December 21 alignment of 2 planets Jupiter and Saturn perfectly aligned First time in over 800 years Blood moons, meteors planetary happenings 5 Lift up our eyes! End times signs are here! Causing people to wonder, question, understand the times bible prophecy, how long ‘til the return of the Lord Wonders in the heavens and in the earth Social. Racial, economic, earthquakes, etc. perplexity of nations, confusion, uncertainty – identifying that we are in the last days Hope vanishing away, without God, no hope Elements dissolve with a fervent heat We are to be a trumpet to sound that He is coming again and his return is nearer than most believe A Sign: We have seen his star in the east and have come to worship Him. Matthew 2 wise men in the east. led by a star/ sign in the purpose special star guided them the wise men at the manger is not biblically true. Took 2 years to get to their destination. Carried food, resources to make the long journey Verse 9, they were led by the star and the star departed and stood 6 The special star went before them and they arrived 2 years later, Jesus was a boy living in a house. They brought great alarm and attention Herod was the King! Can be only be one king in the kingdom. The other king was to be destroyed! Out of Him shall be a governor to rule the people, God spared Jesus and gave wisdom to the wise men. Herod gave orders to find and kill all babies under 2 years We have received freedom from fear, depression…hellfire ,,,we receive life,! John 3:16 we understand God laid down his life gave His son as the sacrifice and he is coming again as lion of tribe of Judah establish his kingdom in he earth. Coming soon We know his love based on the gift he gave, His Son whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved We value the gift by receiving it. We have received Gifts of healing, prosperity, peace of mind, we have received salvation, life, not gift anywhere close , greatest gift of God our lives, etc. We cannot measure up in any way to give anything in return anything close to the gift he has given us He is just asking us to give our hearts and lives to Him! give him our lives and lordship over our lives. 7 Gifts from the wise men: gold, frankincense and myrrh He has been given a name above every name. Gold represents royalty - Jesus would be King of All, Lord of All Phil 2 a name above every name every time we confess Jesus is Lord we have been made kings and priests unto our God In My name, cast out devils agree as touching anything in my name All authority, all power! He is King Many kingdoms in the earth One last kingdom Any agree in my name, gather in my name I am in the midst of them 4 main empires found in the book of Daniel Babylon, Persia/Medes, Grecian, Roman We are now Operating under the remnant of the Roman Empire One world, one religion, all a culmination of the Roman empire 8 We are coming to an end before the last kingdom. The Kingdom of our God and of His Christ. (Rev. 11:15 ) Come to the father in the name of the mediator! Frankincense priesthood Jesus is always making intercession for us (Romans 8:34) Seated at the right hand of God For access and open door (Heb 4:16) Come boldly to the throng of grace (1 TIMOTHY 2:5 ) One mediator, come to the father in no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. able to be touched with our infirmities Satan desires to have you, but I have prayed for you, Able to comfort and deliver us, Making intercession for us He prayed that your faith fail not, He prays for us no Don’t lose your focus on who you are and who he is in you, Don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t turn back now! W’ere on the last lap! Its Homecoming time soon Only in him is a hope for a glorious future Encourage others, hope in Him for a glorious future 9 The wise men walked in the light. Glory of the lord risen upon you His grace is sufficient, not matter what the enemy says…no weapon formed against you can prosper. Don’t lose your focus on who you are and who he is in you, Don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t turn back now! We’re on the last lap! Its Homecoming time soon Only in him is a hope for a glorious future Encourage others, hope in Him for a glorious future Don’t get deceived, seduced by the works of darkness. Don’t get discouraged by inconvenience, Stay focused on our goal, your commitment to be faithful They sought God to worship Him for who he was. 10 Myrrh- embalming, sacrificial lamb slain of God. Born to die – came to be a sacrifice for the sins of mankind He knew no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21) The son of god became sin so that we could become the sons of God! We are bought with a price and we should glorify God with our bodies and our minds Son of God became son of man so that the sons of man could become sons of God. He paid a price What we can look forward to: Though darkness in the earth, etc. Arise and Shine The wise men His grace is sufficient ,walk in the light Don’t get discouraged by inconvenience Stay focused on the goal Distractions: don’t get distracted from commitment to the things of God! 11 The wise men brought gifts, not expecting anything in return! They that come to God must believe that he is a rewarder… Honor Him with all we have, love one another They gave gifts, obeyed the word, left a different way! Stay in His Word, His worship Have daily, hourly encounters with God Weights are lifted off, healing comes, We cannot come into the presence of God and leave the same way. Stay in His presence and shine His light! Be like the moon and reflect the light of the Sun! be a full moon, fully illuminated “Be the star that leads to Jesus, be the moon that reflects the light of the Son” “It is appropriate to understand the process of seeing a promise fulfilled.”

Mary, mother of Jesus, as a virgin was chosen among women to carry the seed that would bring forth the Son of God. We see how she responded to the news. It is appropriate to understand the process of seeing a promise fulfilled. The Promise: (Luke 1:35-39) You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The LORD God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end." 34"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?" 35The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. 36Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37For no word from God will ever fail." 38"I am the LORD's servant," Mary answered. "May your word to me be fulfilled." Mary, a woman of faith and promise, received a promise from God through the angel - her response was, she believed the report of the Lord Strength is necessary to conceive seed, strength necessary to believe God/ the report of the Lord. 2 A process – cousin Elizabeth Even when it seems impossible, hard to believe that God could not be speaking so wonderfully You can’t force it, rush it to happen in our own strength, the vision comes in God’s strength and God’s timing. Not by your might or your spirit The Vision is for an appointed time. (Habakkuk 2:3-4 ) Though it tarry it shall come, in the fulness of time as with Mary Mary and Elizabeth Received strength to believe and let the seed be conceived in their hearts (Luke 1:35) Sarah = hall of fame of faith (Hebrews 11:1) delivered of a child when past age because she considered him faithful Impossible naturally to bring forth in her old age Usually beyond our control or understanding But All things are possible Through faith Sarah received strength to conceive seed when past age, Abraham and Sarah @ 100 and 80 years old Natural seed When God makes a promise we have to ask him for the strength to believe and conceive. Father came to Jesus can you do anything? For us – when we receive a promise, the condition of our heart has to be right to receive it. Must have Proper soil conditions Heart in proper conditions in order for the seed to bring forth When God makes a promise, we must have strength to conceive, we must believe God. Another example - Young boy possessed of demons, disciples could not help Jesus says to father, “if you can believe” Father says, “I believe, help my unbelief.” Some things come not but by prayer and fasting Ask for the strength to believe and conceive seed to bring forth the promise 3 Give me strength to believe so it can be conceived and we can bring forth fruit in our lives Faith of Abraham Things that were not as though they were Quicken the dead, against hope he believed in hope 100 yrs old man 80 year old woman to bring forth Romans 4:17 Abraham staggered not at the promises as it is written, I have made you a father of many nations as it is written, who quickeneth the dead Already been done, once He says it, it’s “as good as done”! Get your heart in condition Who against hope believed in hope according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be No hope in the natural, but the bible says Abraham did not hesitate to believe He knew that same God Called those things that be not as though they were Able to raise the dead, called things that be not worlds were framed by the word of God. God said let there be light…If he promised it , He will make it good, Being not weak in faith, considered not his body God is not moved, now faith is…walk by faith and not sight They that come to God must believe he is a rewarder of them that believe God With God all things are possible Vs 21 Be fully persuaded that what he had promised he was also able to perform Have faith in this hour to believe the report of the Lord His word cannot fail neither will it return void 4 Not by man’s resources, Holy Ghost overshadows yield, humble and submit to the Holly Spirit He is the one that causes seed to come to fruition To rejoice and stand in darkness we speak life Speak prosperity and abundance, death and life is in the tongue Regardless of what it looks like, we stand on the promises, God performs His word How to process specific things God has spoken in your life Things you need to be done that are beyond your ability He will never leave you or forsake you, his will is that you prosper and be in health , as your soul prospers Believe there will be a performance of those things because the one who promised is faithful God has given you a promise. His will that you prosper and be in health The one who promised is faithful - Steps to receive it, meditate on the word of God Declare, decree even when not seen 1. Believe it, the key to blessing Romans 10 the report of the Lord believe in your heart and confess with your mouth (2Cor,4) same spirit of faith if you believe and therefore speak it I am father of many nations Stand with people that are with you You cannot share with everyone share with those who will believe with you 1. Strength to Conceive, give strength 2. Maintain = through 9 months gestation ,endure ,maintain, manage yourself, something working in me Want it to burst forth in the fullness of time 3. Keep focus 4. Be Not weary in well doing, in due time, you will reap if you faint not They that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength 5 Maintain until the fulness of time Don’t give up\renew your strength they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength Continue to decree and confess God’s promise sometimes no outward evidence Hold fast, to the fullness of time Don’t lose focus on what will burst forth in our lives Even in the natural, seed in the ground Conception only occurs under proper conditions The seed of the word and seed of spiritual conception Matt 13 the sower and the seed conception occurs under proper conditions Good seed, bad soil – no gemination (not healthy) Is the soil good that the seed is planted in? What condition is your heart as the seed of the word of god needs to be planted in your heart. Mat 13:18, Mark 4 parable of the sower “if you can understand this parable, you can understand all parables. Hear and understand not, received seed by the wayside Wayside seed Stay, receive and endure for a while, until tribulation, then offended Cares of the world, deceitfulness of sin choke out the word. Hear and understand, bring forth fruit Sow finances, the word There is much fear and confusion in the world today Speak a word in season, the tongue of the learned… Sow seeds of hope, encouragement, salvation, healing Speak life in the midst of confusion 6 Sow: resources, finances, right words Receive fruitfulness Promise of God sown In different conditions 4 conditions of the soil/heart will come forth in the fulfilment of the promise 1- wayside soil (Mark 4:19) Heard the word and birds eat it before it is conceived, before it is understood or has penetrated the ground People involved in religious activity, not allowing word to get down into their spirit Saints at Macedonia more noble– studied to see if these things be true They had a greater commitment to the study of God’s word necessary if we see the fulfillment of what God promised for our lives Take time to dig into it and meditate on it . get it down in your heart “don’t let the birds steal the word that you heard”
Tribulation, Persecution, hardship burns away after time and decide to turn back Aborting the word too hard to continue Hardships because of the word and they are offended and hardship 3 -Thorny soil Begins to be fruitful, evidence until other things choke it out Thorns and thistles, cares of this life, lust of Spirit allows other things choke out the word! Maintain focus, keep mind and body, miscarriage if body has no strength to take it full term Cares, etc. distract away from Gods promise 4-Good soil, good ground brings forth fruit! 7 The Challenge is to make sure our heart is good soil The Word is good, incorruptible, cannot fail, life in the word Strong bear infirmities of the weak! Helpers of those who are struggling Abraham not weak in faith, an encouragement to his wife Encouragers of one another to believe the report of the lord Distracted, not holding fast, ask forgiveness We need strength to maintain, He gives strength to the weary Renew our strength, restore the joy of our salvation create in us a clean heart Don’t take your spirit away from us, let your spirit be upon us cover and empower us. We believe the report of the lord, begin to rejoice! Remember the responses of Sarah Elizabeth and Mary : Sarah judged him faithful who had promised! There is nothing too hard for God Luke 1:45 (Elizabeth to Mary) And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the LORD. Luke 1:46-50, 56 (Mary to Elizabeth) Mary rejoiced and praised God She decided to believe the report of the Lord 46 And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the LORD 47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, 49for the Mighty One has done great things for me- holy is his name. And his mercy, he has shown strength, exalted them of low degree… 56 I have believed the report of the Lord and there shall be a performance of those things which were told me from the lord I encourage you to consider him faithful, to believe God. You are pregnant with a promise from God and He is faithful to deliver. 8 Closing words We thank you Lord for the fulfillment of every promise you’ve given us…. We will see a manifestation of what you have promised. With you there is nothing impossible, your power is working in us to bring forth life.… we are glad to be in the kingdom for such a time as this. The Prayer of Jabez The story of Jabez relates to the season we are in.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 9And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. 1 BLESS ME INDEED 2 ENLARGE MY COAST 3YOUR HAND BE WITH ME 4 KEEP ME FROM EVIL He called on the Lord and God granted him his request. We must be a people of prayer, especially in this hour. We have confidence that if we ask according to his will he hears and we have the petitions we have desired of him. We have a lot to be glad about! Glad that He has made us glad Glad our names are written in the lamb’s book of life, that His favor is upon us, that His grace is sufficient We are encouraged to know that God is the one true and living God, that he is faithful and more than willing to honor his word. We come with a spirit of gladness, knowing that we are in the kingdom for a time as this. We are living in a very important time now. This story relates to us at this time. IChron 4:9 Jabez (sorrowful), but He was more honorable than his brethren “Because I bare him with sorrow” God granted him what he requested The Power of Prayer: His ear is open to our cry We can ask anything according to His will and know that he hears us. (1 John 5:14) It’s not how we begin but how we finish. Jabez´s name was a negative way to begin life, Still not defeated, though to start see ourselves the way God sees us. He didn’t allow the name to put him in a place of defeat. The name did not define who he could be He was honorable in that He trusted the Lord, sought for his purpose for his life 2Corinthians says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds casting down imaginations… (2Cor 10:4) Things done and said in early childhood are overcome in this spiritual warfare The warfare: Declare we are who God says we are: we can have what he says we can have, we can do what he says we can do. Remember John 8: If we continue in his word we shall know the truth… Cast down imaginations. Doubts and comparisons, condemnation re: previous decisions you’ve made Get beyond negative situations in our lives Take every thought captive 2 Corinthians 10:5 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ Though from Single parent home, lack, poverty, negative circumstances, it is important to see yourself the way God sees you and how you see yourself and declare we are who god says we are… Identity: God has begun a good work in you and will perform it (Philippians 1:6 6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.) (John 8) If we continue in his word as disciples and see ourselves in him, we will know the truth Know the truth of who he says we are, See ourselves and Him in a greater light, Learn to cast down imaginations and negative impressions of ourselves Resist the lies from the devil: he says that you are reaping what you sowed, but God is a merciful God and will restore you. If any man be in Christ he is a new creature…there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (1Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:1) Transition: not victims but victorious From tragedy to triumph Strongholds: Wrong attitudes, mindsets, belief systems identifying with problems more than the promises of God Begin to speak in agreement with His word. Don’t identify with the problems rather than the promises. Rise up above what the world and the natural eye can see, Define ourselves based on what God says we are, based on God’s perspective. We are who he says we are, we can do what He says we can do, We can do all things through Christ (Phil. 4:13) He sent His word to deliver us. (Psalms 107:19-21 (KJV) 19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. 21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men) We shall be free indeed (John 8:36) Enlarge my coast not based on my past. John 10:28) The peace of God comforts and sustains us two hands – hold us up and cover us Dwell in the secret place (Psalm 91) no evil and no plague, he satisfies us with long life 4)Keeps us from evil - (“lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil” Matt 6:13) spirit is willing but flesh is weak We resist temptation, deny the flesh, Put God first, guard our hearts, avoid negative conversation, evil reports, etc. Love the truth, love God The truth of His word keeps us
Transition is a process of change and adjustment Life is about change! Transition, fiery trials and hardships into a burning testimony of God’s faithfulness Use what we have to bring glory to the kingdom of God. Be able to adjust, re-align and use resources available to us, Can’t get stuck in traditions of the past Turn away from covetousness, fleshly works even with the form of godliness There are all types of religious activities but God’s word never changes their hearts Can’t get satisfied with the way things are, must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to new challenges Reach for higher goals, greater disciplines in this season More consistency needed in Your prayer life, the reading of the word of God your walk, Conversations more aligned with the word of God, Requires movement, advancement, Believe God to enlarge your coasts give you a picture of who we are in him. He has us In His Hand, His hand is Upon Us Keeps away from evil, enticements and seductions of the wicked Be strong in the lord From sorrowful to honorable bountiful, victorious Don’t allow past decisions to hinder you Lay aside all weights Run the race with patience Stay in the process, make the transitions that cause you to adjust, advance, reach higher Press toward the mark! this is a season of thanksgiving for some, but for the people of god every moment of the day is a season to give thanks God has warned: if we don't serve Him with gladness of heart, He will cause our enemies to overtake us Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; 48Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. War against the spirit of complaining many things distract us and cause us to lose our praise remember the word last week: the power of praise! we must be doers of the word Think of the goodness of Jesus understand our salvation, peace, victory over every plot and plan of the enemy the enemy uses deception to get us into unbelief! people focus on the confusion in the world rather than the blessings our victory is in our praise! we are in spiritual warfare Praise invites the presence of the Lord He inhabits the praises of his people (Psalm 24 ) when we lift up our eyes, and hear the voice of God the King of Glory shall come in the battle is the Lord's invite military might of the armies of the Lord! Praise is a garment (Isaiah 61:3) he gives us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness praise confounds the enemy's camp as Gideon the sound, the shout Jehoshaphat sent the tribe of Judah first - praise first depression must flee even youth are under anxiety and fear, hopelessness don't be drawn into that spirit don't let down your weapon of praise Praise is a reminder to God and his angels let God arise and his enemies be scattered You need to be reminded to rejoice lose our joy, lose your strength remember, He will fight the battles, it is already won!
