Endure unto the End.                                                                                            August 29, 2021
We have been sharing over the past few weeks concerning the end time.  We will focus today on Matthew 24.
There is some question as to where things are on God’s timetable of events.  We should be well aware of the things that are going on now give enough information to cause us to question what is really going on, and most of all for the saints to know what we should do.  God gave the tribe of Issachar understanding of the times and what Israel was to do.  Like the tribe of Issachar, we must have understanding of the times and what we are to do.
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ” Jesus ends his message to the 7 churches with this statement: “to him that has an ear to hear let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.”
We need to have a ear to discern.
We want to walk in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

We have evidence/manifestation of prophecies Jesus gave us concerning the end times.
There is an urgency in this last hour to remind the people to hold fast the profession of their faith, to be steadfast and unmovable.  The Spirit of Deception is out to draw you away from God.  There is a great departing from the faith. Hold fast, stand firm, stand strong and don’t be distracted in this hour.

Matt 24:12
Because iniquity (lawlessness) shall abound…but He that shall endure to the end shall be saved.
Lawlessness, to believe against the law of God and nature
2
(Romans 1:27)  men leave the natural use of women
rebellion against the laws of man, laws of God, laws of nature also
lawlessness, spirit of rebellion
The love of many shall wax cold,  love for God the brethren, the faith, the lost
lawlessness, chaos, confusion etc.
Don’t lose our love for God and for the brethren, the truth of God’s word or the souls of the unsaved
.
But he that shall endure shall be saved
We see the season we are in.
Luke 21:28 When you see these things beginning to happen, look up

An example of one man’s enticement:  Endure until the end
Now we see subtle deception and the ways of this world, seducing spirits, doctrines of devils, the pride of life.
There are subtle ways to entice and cause many to turn back as people go back (2 Peter 2:22)  It has happened to them according to the proverb, “as the dog goes back to his vomit and the pig to wallowing in the mire”)  ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED IS NOT TRUE.
WE MUST BE DILIGENT
if ye continue in my word, THEN YOU ARE NY DISCIPLES INDEED
(Heb 12) – ‘lay aside the weight and the sin that so easily besets you.”     run this race with patience
Gal 5:7  “ ye did run well…who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth”
Gal 3  Who hath bewitched you that you should not obey the truth…
before whose eyes Jesus was crucified

3
(Galatians 5:1)  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage   Hold on to your steadfastness in the Lord.
There are many who are walking away from the faith.
We have an example of one of Paul’s co-laborers in the faith. He was one who served and worked together with him.
Paul spoke of betrayal
(2Tim 4:10)  “Demos has departed from me having loved this present world.”

The cares of this world and the lust of other things chokes out the word and draws men away from steadfastness.
(Galatians 3) there is a strong warning to hold fast.
They had become enticed, bewitched after being made new.
(2 Corinthians 11:13,14) The God of this world system has blinded the minds of them who believe not.   And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light
Don’t get in unbelief!  Keep your faith and confidence in God.   Be strong in the lord…stand against the enticement of the enemy
Hold fast to your steadfastness in the Lord.
4

There is a war for our souls.
Our citizenship is in heaven
(IJohn 2:15)  love not the world, neither the things in the world…
for all that is in the world…he that doeth the will of God shall abide forever…
Even now there are many antichrists, many religions, doctrines away from fundamental truths of the gospel
don’t be distracted in this hour
There are many philosophies and doctrines to draw men away from the name and the blood of Jesus.  Hold fast, don’t be deceived or confused.

(Romans 12:2) I beseech you therefore, be not conformed to this world.  be not conformed to this world but e ye transformed.
the way of the righteous is more excellent than his neighbour but the way of the wicked seduces him.
(IJohn 2:17)  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof.  All that is in the world…he that doeth the will of God abideth forever
Even now are there many antichrists
The way of the wicked seduces him, give heed to the things we have heard
If you are a hearer and not a doer of the word,  you deceived yourself.
Your spirit is like a leaky balloon.  the helium seeps out!
over time if we aren’t doers we deceive ourselves
We must obey the truth
Faith without works is still dead.
We must demonstrate his power.
5
If we have love for the world, the love of the Father is not in us

(James 4:4)  adulterers and adulteresses
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
friendship with the world is enmity with God
We have a covenant relationship with God! we are married to him.
Relationships with the world are adulterous relationships against God
The example of Solomon – how powerful and seductive the lust of the eyes, etc. can be! these things are for an example.  You don’t have to experience everything to learn.
the best teacher is the Holy Spirit. be led by the spirit and walk in truth.
He guides you around land mines, walking you around land mines and through the shadow of death
(Psalm 23) His rod and staff will comfort us
He is right there with us.  in the midst of confusion, death, contamination, disease, virus, etc.
Psalm 91  dwell in the secret place of the most high, we Say of the lord He is our refuge and our fortress and in Him we will trust.  No plague shall come nigh our dwelling, He shall keep us in all our ways.
WE have god’s protection, peace and provision in the midst of all of this.
6
David had cried out for the mercy of God when he came to himself.
(Psalm 51:2-5)  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judges . 5Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
(1Kings 11:11)  Solomon loved many strange women.  It was never God’s will for men to have more than one wife.
It never has a good outcome.
He had 700 wives, (princesses), and 300 concubines who turned away his heart to serve other gods.
He began to be enticed by the women and their gods.  His heart was not like his father David’s who cried out to God for mercy and forgiveness. Psalm 51
Solomon went after Ashtaroth   and other Gods, (Moab, Molech, etc)  in the high places where some actually sacrificed their own children to them.
He asked God for wisdom to lead God’s people rather than riches. Look at the wisdom he had access to in Psalms and Proverbs.
Lots of people start with the right motives, understanding the righteousness of God, ect.
Having all available to them, they still fall as they are seduced.
The God of Israel appeared to him twice and commanded him not to go unto other gods.
1 Kings 11:11. KJ21. Therefore the Lord said unto Solomon, “Forasmuch as this is done by thee, and thou hast not kept My covenant and My statutes which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee and will give it to thy servant.
7
the kingdom was split between Jeroboam and Rehoboam
division and chaos because of Solomon’s sin.  Our decisions effect generations to come!
God is raising up curse breakers in this generation who will break curses of sickness and disease, etc.  hereditary issues.
There is a war against spirits that think they are familiar with your family, etc.

Solomon had everything, yet lost through outright rebellion
  1. Proverbs 5:1-4  My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding
  2. That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
  3. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil
  4. But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.
the lips of a strange woman…lest thou shalt ponder
They draw you into deception.
The love of many waxes cold.  Keep the love of God on fire in your soul!
Build yourself up in the love of  Christ, praying in the Holy Ghost!
“If you love me you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)
All things work together for good.
Desire to worship him with all your heart and mind and soul.
God perfects his people.
(Phil. 1:6) Being confident of this very thing.  He is going to complete what He has begun.
He is building you up to be strong!
8
Cast all you cares upon Him.  Know that He is your provider
Trust in the Lord
Don’t try to figure it all out.
Give obedience to His word.
"This is the way, walk ye in it."

Every time you think, “What am I going to do about …”  Trust in the Lord
Don’t be overcome by the threats of the world.
Hebrews 10 – the flattering lips of the enemy are deceitful.  Trust in the Lord! not in mn.  be not deceived.
If you sow to the spirit, you will have life.
Intensify your prayer life.
The just shall live by faith.
He is not just your God, He is your Father!
The word is night thee.  I will never leave thee.  I am your God, I will uphold you.
(Hebrews 10:35)  "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward."
9
(Hebrews 10:38)  Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
Don’t be like Lot’s wife.
they brought her out and she looked back.
(Luke 9:62) No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
We are not of them than draw back unto perdition.
We are not even looking back!  look unto the hills from whence our help comes from.
(Romans 10:39)  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
David said, “I had fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)
Stand before the Lord one day and hear Him say, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”  Endure to the end!
