Children of the Light
 
We must understand that we are children of light and not darkness.
Isaiah 60 speaks of this difference between light and darkness.  There is a darkness camouflaged as light
The bible says that Satan disguised himself as an angel of light.
IJohn 1:7  But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
Satan’s main goal is to make people think that evil does not exist, that there is no real devil, no real manifestation of demons, no real evil, not real hell, no consequences for sin.
His works are manifest in great ways!
Why and what it means to be children of light.
No fellowship with the woks of darkness.  There is no significance in folly, festive “good times”,
Luke 11  the men of Ninevah
Luke 11:32 “ The men of Ninevah shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
Our eye must be single so that our whole body can be full of light
No man lighteth a candle and hideth it.
Take heed that you light be not darkness.
Jesus is greater than Jonah.
The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. The Spirit of man is that candle of the lord. (Proverb 20:27)
A candle without fire is nothing more than a wick rolled in wax.  There is no value without light.
His light has come and lighteth our spirit.

Light represents life to our spirit man
(John 3:16)  16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The spirit of God came so we can see.  a person not born again cannot see the things of God
??Jesus spoke in parable, or codes.   Don’t cast your pearls before swine.  They will argue, mock, rend you.
(1 Corinthians 2:9-10)  9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, Neither have entered into the heart of man, The things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
From the hour that we accepted  him  our human spirit was lit!
We can be rightly perceiving the things of the kingdom of God.
(1John 1:4,5)   In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
 
Satan has blindeth the minds of those who don’t believe.
(2 Cor 4:4 ) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them
 
If our gospel be hid, it is hid

We are born in darkness, in sin, with the nature of Adam, the nature of sin.  All must be born again, mjst receive life!
Perceive things freely given to us of God.

condemnation is when man loves darkness
(John 3:19)  19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
people want to continue in their evil ways, contrary to the world, to avoid the truth of the Word.
“He that doeth the truth comes to the light.”
It is important for those who name the name of Christ to abstain from evil.

The earth is the Lord’s, He is creator of all,  Satan is the God of this world’s system.
(Romans 12:1,2) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
A lot of information now is initiated  by the devil.  The enemy wants to have his own light, to get the glory.  When he was cast out, he wanted to receive the praise .  He convinced a third of the angels to follow him.
In our natural condition we have no power to resist the deceptions of the enemy.

Genesis 3:1-7 King James Version (KJV) 1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
 
 Satan came in the form of a serpent. He wanted Eve to question what God had said and to partake the tree.  Told her that she would see the way things really were. 
Adam and Eve were covered by the Shekinah glory.  They were not naked.  The deception of the enemy is to make you think his ways are greater than God’s ways!
2Corinthians 11:3-4  4   But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

 God is a god of peace!  Things that look like God but are not are counterfeit.
(Mark 16:18) Jesus said to his disciples. “Behold I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions… no weapon shall by any means hurt you.

(2Cor 1;13,14) For such are false Apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the Apostles of Christ. And no marvel. Is it said that they appear to be Christ's ministers? For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

The Devil has his ministers – witches, warlocks, medians, etc. are obviously workers of Satan but some claim to be Christians!
Judge them according to their works and their words.

Halloween’s demonic origins.
Christians should have no fellowship with this practice.
The root word Hallow in  “Halloween” means “Holy”, or ascribed to God only!
It is a Pagan ritual!  of Celtic origin practiced by the Druids.
It’s origin goes way back even before Ireland, etc.  All the way back to Cannan! 
The Cannanites, Hittites, a nd Jebusites who practiced human sacrifice, etc.
Elijah and Jezebel fought because of this Baal worship.

The Phoenicians brought it home after triumphing in the 1840s.
The Druid priests sacrificed children and called this Halloween; a festival of the death and hell.
They believe the soul is immortal, having the ability to pass from one dead body to another living body -  a transfer of spirits
(Hebrews 9;7)  it is appointed unto  man once to die and after that the judgement

One of their many practices was to hallow out oak trees, put their victims inside and burn them.
The Canaanites burned their children, especially their first born, as a sacrifice to their idol gods.
They believed there is a veil between the living and the dead that is thinnest during this season and that the dead would roam around looking for a body to inhabit.  People dressed  as spirits in order to look like they were also dead  This is not a casual thing!  Have no fellowship with this work of darkness. 
Britain, Ireland and Scotland call this all Hallows day – celebrating saints, etc.
They decided to incorporate the Druid holiday for protection.
They disguised it as a celebration of seasonal changes!
2Cor 6:14  be ye not unequally yoked together…ye shall be my sons and daughters.
Light and darkness cannot dwell together.
God is not willing that any should perish.
After salvation we dan call on God.
(1John 2:1) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

One example of how the enemy presents himself as light:
Many things of darkness are disguises and have nothing to do with the things of God.
It is time to stand and speak the truth in love!
Know the truth of God’s love.  Tell the truth all the way.
Walk in the truth.  Arise, shine!  The glory of the lord has risen upon us!
