God desires friendship

Exodus 33:11-13   Moses was called "a friend of God"
 God talked to Moses face to face because he was found righteous/obedient. 
(TAKE TIME TO TALK TO GOD DAILY!)
Exodus 33:21 Context. 18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Moses found grace in God!  He was more concerned about God and his people than he was about his own welfare.
