Prince of Peace Friday and Saturday focus - day 20 and 21 of the 21 day fast
Prince (general, governor, keeper or lord) of peace, safety, happiness, friendliness, health and prosperity) He is the anointed one, the Christ, the FIRST LOVE OF THE CHURCH and The GLORY OF THE CHURCH, He is the anointed one who brings, governs and keeps peace. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ephesians 2:13-18 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. 14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. We praise you Lord! You bring and protect our peace! You Are our peace! You keep us in perfect peace because we trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- additional suggestions from “Who Jesus” is brochure (for contemplation) Isaiah 61 1-3 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. Ephesians 5:25-27 25....Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Lord, I praise you that you have chosen and empowered us by your spirit to serve as you did during your earthly ministry. Help us to" loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and (to) break every yoke." Isaiah 58:6 I hope you have prospered from the 21 days of prayer and fasting. Surely seeking the face of God and ingesting the Word of God concerning himself helps one to more fully understand His heart and walk in His ways. We are changed by his Spirit as we seek to know Him, beholding Him in his word and in sweet communion.
