John 14:27   Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
This is a command  Do Not allow your heart to be troubled.  Guard your heart, out of it are the issues of life,  Guard your gates,  ear gate, eye gate, all senses
troubled:  beset by problems or conflict
afraid:      feeling fear or anxiety,  worried that something undesirable will occur or be done
abide under the shadow of the almighty  :permit allow
accept in accordance with a rule, decision or recommendation
stick to,  keep hold to, conform to
dwell  live in a specified place

remember His promises, remember his words concerning what you might expect to experience in this world,   as he told Paul what things awaited him  he does nothing without revealing it to his prophets and his children are not in the dark.  You shall be hated of all meln for my sake...  He reminds us that He has overcome the world. Rejoice that He is with Father God and that He is coming again!!!
believe the report of the Lord
perilous times, BUT GOD!!!
you want the bad news or the good news first? :)
